STEERING RACK GAITERS, BOOTS & PLASTIC TIES that would be suitable for the following vehicles :
LOTUS ELAN S1, S2, S3, S4 & SPRINT ; YEARS 1962-1973.
LOTUS ELAN +2 ; YEARS 1967-1975.
They are not suitable for the M100 model Lotus Elan from the 1990's.
These items are supplied in pairs (left hand & right hand) and are NEW.
They are British manufactured from moulded black rubber and are of the correct size & shape without them having to be cut/trimmed to size, as is evident with lesser quality boots/gaiters that are currently available on the market.
The steering rack gaiters tend to suffer from splits caused through engine oil contamination/road dirt or by the rubber perishing through age and use resulting in a possible MOT failure (in the UK). If the gaiters on your Lotus are past their best then these would make an ideal replacement part.
